Tel Aviv Biennale of Crafts & Design 2023

The Biennale presents a cutting-edge, picture of contemporary crafts and design in Israel, including ceramics, glass, jewelry making, textile and paper featured in combined displays. In addition to forging connections between these intersecting fields, the Biennale engages with MUZA’s historical pavilions and archaeological and ethnographic treasures. The museum’s open spaces feature outdoor works including installations, sculptures, and architectural structures.

“ What is the measure of man? Focuses on the human condition at the threshold of a New Age. The Biennale will examine the different circles that surround us, and our power to impact the future of the place, which we live. In order to reflect the global spirit of this question, 250 works by prominent Israeli artists are presented alongside a find selection of international craft and design works that respond to ancient cultures and traditions.

The Biennale extends throughout the museum’s pavilions an outdoor sites.
