The Infinity Mirror Room will open to the public in June 2025

Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama is one of the most innovative and influential artists of our time. Kusama is already become a cultural icon and an international phenomenon throughout the world. For over fifty years, Kusama has created infinity mirror rooms that surround visitors, immersing them in a world that is all her own, offering a powerful sensory experience and creating a sense of wonder.

Kusama’s mirror rooms have become one of her most recognizable works in recent decades and are now exhibited in the permanent collections of major museums around the world. These rooms have become a focal point for audiences providing the public with a powerful, moving, and extraordinary experience.

Now, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art announces that Kusama’s Infinity Mirror Room will be on permanent display starting in the summer of 2025. The room, titled Infinity Mirrored Room – The Eternally Infinite Light of the Universe Illuminating the Quest for Truth, which the 96-year-old artist created in 2020, will now become a permanent part of a visit to the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.

The presentation of Infinity Mirror Room, initiated by collector Steve Nassima, is made possible thanks to the generous support of the lenders Melanie and Matthew Bronfman, Anne and Roland Lorie, and Steve Nassima.

Now, I am happy to announce that we will be able to present the Infinity Mirror Room.» As a regular part of a visit to the museum.

Admission to Yayoi Kusama, Infinity Mirrored Room – The Eternally Infinite Light of the Universe Illuminating the Quest for Truth will be included in the price of the museum’s admission ticket and with advance registration on the museum’s website.

The room will open on a limited basis in June 2025 on Thursdays between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM and will be open to the public during the summer months, during museum hours and at additional times for various events. Information will be updated on the museum’s website and social media.Entry to the room is limited to one or two people at a time. Staying in the room, including taking photos, is limited to 60 seconds.
